My Role & Agile Process

As the Product Owner and Lead Developer, I drove the project from initial concept to production. We utilized an Agile framework, prioritizing features that delivered immediate value to our two primary user bases.

My first step was MVP Scoping: defining the absolute core features required for a functional learning management system before writing any code. This ensured we didn't over-engineer solutions and stayed focused on the user journey.

Scalable MVC Architecture & Clean Code

Prioritized maintainability by strictly adhering to Django’s Model-View-Template architecture. By utilizing lightweight Alpine.js for frontend reactivity-such as the course module accordions-I ensured the site remains highly performant, accessible, and organized for seamless handoffs to other developers as the team scales.

Developed distinct, tailored experiences for two primary user personas. For students, I engineered a dynamic Activity Feed and an 'Upcoming Deadlines' tracking matrix to maximize graduation rates. For teachers, I delivered a centralized command dashboard to streamline content uploads, minimizing operational friction. Beyond local development, I architected the production release strategy. Successfully managed the CI/CD pipeline using Railway, handling complex environment variable mapping, automated database migrations, and production seeding. This ensures 99.9% uptime and a reliable foundation for users.
