Beacon Media Solutions: Creative Talent Marketplace
As Project Manager, I led the delivery of Beacon's flagship marketplace - the platform that connects vetted creatives with brands across Singapore and Southeast Asia, either embedded full-time or scoped per project.
The landing experience: a calm, premium hero that frames
Beacon's positioning across Southeast Asia.
Owning the Delivery
My role was to take Beacon's positioning and turn it into a shippable site. I owned the delivery end to end - scope, timeline, and the coordination between design and development - keeping the build moving from first draft through to a live launch.
That meant translating a young company's story into a clear structure, prioritising what mattered for launch, and making the call on what to cut so the site stayed focused and shipped on time.
Two Doors, One Platform
The core product challenge was serving two very different audiences from one site - brands looking to embed a creative, and creatives looking for a home - without diluting either message. I helped structure a dual-pathway experience so each side gets a focused journey from the same landing page.
Two distinct doors - "For Brands" and "For Creatives" -
reinforcing a single brand story.
The model distilled into a simple, legible four-step
rhythm.
Making the Model Legible
Beacon's model - embed or per-project, fully managed - needed to be understandable in seconds. We distilled it into a simple four-step rhythm (Listen, Match, Deliver, Stay) so a first-time visitor grasps the value proposition without reading a single long paragraph.
How I Approached the Build
Clarity Over Cleverness
Every section had to earn its place. The priority was making Beacon's offer unmistakable, so structure and copy hierarchy came before any visual flourish.
One Message, Two Audiences
Brands and creatives arrive with different needs. The architecture keeps both journeys distinct while reinforcing a single, coherent brand story.
Delivered, Not Just Designed
As PM my job was to get it shipped - coordinating stakeholders, unblocking the build, and holding the timeline through to a live, polished launch.
